correspondence which has passed between the Foreign Office and the Portuguese Government on the subject of Emigration from Macao.
2. It appears that Earl Granville having recently called the attention of the Portuguese Government to the manner in which Emigrants are procured at Macao, with express reference to the revolt on board the "Nouvelle Penelope" and the burning of the "Don Juan", the Portuguese
